Mr. Todd Gentis, Principal
It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the principal of Brookville Intermediate School. As a proud 1992 graduate of Brookville High School and someone who spent many years teaching in this building, returning to BIS truly feels like coming home. I am excited to partner with our students, families, staff, and community as we work together to provide an exceptional educational experience.
At Brookville Intermediate School, we believe every student has the ability to grow, achieve, and make a positive impact. We encourage our students to strive to be the very best versions of themselves each day by demonstrating kindness, responsibility, perseverance, and respect. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, or throughout our community, we challenge our students to give their best effort in all they do.
Our dedicated staff is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child is challenged academically while developing the confidence and character needed for future success. Together, we are preparing our students to become high school ready by building strong academic foundations, fostering critical thinking, encouraging collaboration, and developing lifelong learners.
Everything we do is guided by the mission of Brookville Local Schools:
“The Mission of the Brookville Local Schools is to challenge, prepare, and support all students to realize their full potential.”
I look forward to working alongside our outstanding students, families, and staff as we build on Brookville’s tradition of excellence. Together, we will help every student grow, succeed, and become the very best version of themselves.
Blue Pride!

District Profile
GO BLUE DEVILS!

Ohio School Report Cards provide parents, caregivers, community members, educators and policymakers information about district and school performance — to celebrate successes and identify areas for improvement. The report cards establish high expectations for the education community while showing progress toward equitable outcomes for all Ohio students. Brookville Schools again received high marks on the 23-24 report card. We are very proud of our students, staff and community for their hard work and dedication. _1750786223.jpg)
